Taks
You will work in groups assigned by the teacher. Each
person in the group will be responsible for turning in their own written paper,
drawings, and a summation of their topic. The group will make an oral
presentation (about 5 minutes long) in which they give facts about Sequences
and series. You will be graded as a group for the presentations and answers to
data sheet questions, and as individuals for your written papers. You may use
any visual aids you like including PowerPoint for the presentation. Be
creative!!!
Your taks is:
- Find out facts about Sequences and series. Search the web or library and find out facts about sequences and series. Each student is required to write a minimum 1 page typewritten (double spaced) paper summarizing what they have learned about Sequences and series.
- Each member of the group will be able to explain the sequence and construct a geometric figure that you can compare to the sequence. (Activity sheets will be provided)
- Choose a topic from the Sequences and series. Each group will choose a topic, explore it, and write a brief summary of their findings. The topic and findings will be presented to the class.
